About your driving lessons

I'll be pleased to commence your driving lessons from home, college or place of work . Whichever is most convenient for you.


Each one of your driving lessons will be carefully structured to meet your needs and suit your ability. It doesn’t matter if you make mistakes or need many attempts to master key skills.

Neither does it matter if you are nervous about driving. It’s my job to explain things carefully and patiently encourage you throughout every lesson. When skills need explaining over again or things don’t quite go right, we will discuss solutions, systems and methods that work for you.


And I’ll ensure that your safety is maintained at all times. (The car is fitted with dual controls)


Lessons comprise two hour sessions as these provide a good mix of theory and driving practice plus time needed to drive from your pick-up address to appropriate training areas.


 

​On your first driving lesson

We'll discuss where you would like to be picked up for your driving lessons, I'll check your provisional licence and explain how your driving lessons will work. I will also check your eyesight.

While doing this, I’ll also set up a Driver Record for you. Your Driver Record and the AA Driving School booklet will enable you to see, at a glance, the progress you are making with your driving lessons.
